SUMMARY:Celebration of Life for Lillian Szpak
DESCRIPTION:Please join us as we gather to honour and celebrate Lillian’s life, her enduring legacy, and the profound impact she had on our community.\nEvent details:\nSaturday June 13, 2026 at Royal Roads University (Colwood Campus) in the Dogwood Auditorium. Doors open at 9:30 am | Service begins at 10:00 am with a Reception to follow.\nParking is available in both the upper and lower parking lots. A shuttle service will be running before the service and after the reception between the lower parking lot and the auditorium.\nRoyal Roads Campus Map ( https://langford.ca/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/RRU_CampusMap.pdf )\nLillian was an avid user of many modes of transportation and would often be seen travelling by bike. Attendees wishing to bike to the service are invited to join a 5 km group bike ride to the auditorium to celebrate Lillian. The ride will start at 9 a.m. at Savory Elementary School in Langford and will travel along CRD multiuse trails. Valet bike parking is available for anyone wishing to ride their bike in. Folks are encouraged to decorate their bike with daisies, Lillian’s favourite flower.\n
