Notice of Blasting To all contractors and residents in the area of 4342 WESTSHORE PARKWAY

Blasting at the new construction project in Langford at 4342 WESTSHORE PARKWAY will commence on Monday, October 4, 2021 and will continue until approximately JANUARY 31, 2022

All access to the work area has warning signs concerning a blasting operation in progress, and all blasts will be physically guarded by personnel to insure nobody wonders into the blast area.

Drilling and Blasting will be conducted between the hours of 8 am and 4:30 pm MONDAY to FRIDAY.

Before each blast a warning horn will sound 12 short signals.

There will then be a 2-minute wait before firing the blast as per WorksafeBC Regulations.

Immediately after the blast there will be an All Clear 5-second Continuous Signal.

We will make every effort to expedite the work with minimum inconvenience to the residents and contractors in the area. If you have children, please warn them about the potential hazard of a construction site and ask them to keep a safe distance from the site and equipment.
