Description of work to be done:  Drilling and Blasting at Centre Mountain Business Park (Sooke Road)

Estimated duration of  project:    Blasting will commence on Friday, August 30, 2024 and will continue for approximately 4 (four) months.

Hours of Blasting:                         Hours of Operation from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

For each blast, there will be the following blast signals:

1. Before the blast, give 12 short whistle signals at one second intervals
2. Wait 2 minutes
3. Blast detonated
4. After area is cleared by blaster, give all clear: One ten second horn signal
5. Blasting mats will cover all blasts
6. Seismographs will be used to monitor vibrations
