NOTIFICATION OF  BLASTING

Description of work to be done: Blasting rock formations at the end of Horizon Terrace

Estimated duration of  project: Approximately 3 (three) months

Hours of Blasting:              Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

(No blasting Saturdays, Sundays or Statutory Holidays)

The blast locations have proper blasting signage at all appropriate locations surrounding the sites.

For each blast, there will be the following blast signals:

1. Before the blast, 12 blasts of a horn
2. A two minute pause
3. Blast detonated
4. A long whistle indicates all is clear
5. Blasting mats will cover all blasts
6. Seismographs will be used to monitor vibration
