The Parks department has identified three ornamental cherry trees at Centennial Park along Carlow Road that require replacement. The impacts of stem rot, heat stress and limb damage from high winds and vandalism have resulted in significant deterioration of health.

In coordination with the Engineering department’s road improvement works, Parks will be planting six new trees along Carlow Road and installing new irrigation infrastructure to promote increased longevity, tree performance and a more robust canopy cover.
