Please note that as of tomorrow (Wed, Nov 9), contractors will begin disassembling the fence on the south side of the park to allow for the creation of the grass picnic area. Off-leash dogs will be permitted in the completed fenced-in area only on the opposite side of the park. Thank you for your ongoing patience during construction.

October 14, 2022

Crews will be onsite at Danbrook Park (744 Danbrook Avenue) beginning this week. The park will be receiving a much needed renovation and reintroduction of grass picnic area and community space. Works are focused on establishing a purpose built off-leash area, protecting mature Garry Oak trees, reinstating grass area and removal of low value soils. Work is expected to be complete by late fall/early winter 2022.

A portion of the park will remain open for dogs and other park users during construction. Please adhere to onsite signage.
