Effective on Thursday, July 16 2026, at 12 p.m. (noon), all open fires, including campfires, are banned across the Coastal Fire Centre. All permits are suspended and no new permits will be issued until further notice. Portable campfire apparatus that uses gaseous fuels such as propane are still permitted as long as they are CSA or ULC approved and the flame height is less than 15cm.

What: Road Detour – Constructing Crane

Please be advised that on Monday, August 21, 2023 between 7:00AM and 4:00PM, Jenkins Avenue will be closed fronting 918 and 924 Jenkins Avenue. Traffic will be detoured around the works along Avrill Road and Glen Lake Road. Access for local traffic will be maintained.

Traffic control will be on-site directing traffic. Delays may be expected, motorists please be aware. We apologize for the inconvenience.
