Effective on Thursday, July 16 2026, at 12 p.m. (noon), all open fires, including campfires, are banned across the Coastal Fire Centre. All permits are suspended and no new permits will be issued until further notice. Portable campfire apparatus that uses gaseous fuels such as propane are still permitted as long as they are CSA or ULC approved and the flame height is less than 15cm.

Please be advised that traffic will be reduced to single lane alternating on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 along Happy Valley Rd between Turnstone Dr and Vision Way from 7:00am – 5:00pm for a sidewalk pour.
