Fridays At The Station – August 1
The Victoria Beer Society will be hosting the return of their pop-up summer series Fridays at the Station, every Friday evening from May 30th until August 29th. Ring in the weekend at The Langford Station by enjoying live music, a selection of delicious food trucks, browsing local businesses and artist studios, and of course flights of delicious BC craft beer! The Victoria Beer Society’s Beer Truck will be on site serving cold sleeves and flights of craft beer every Friday from 4pm-8pm.
Fridays at The Station features a farm-to-table inspired market blended with an incredible lineup of artisan vendors. Shop fresh local produce, handmade goods, unique art, gifts, and enjoy tasty eats from food trucks — all with live music and good vibes in the air.
This week’s band: East Coast Pete!
Pete MacDonald (AKA East Coast Pete) grew up in Nova Scotia, a place with amazing culture, and a hotbed for great music. Pete now calls Victoria BC home, and performs as guitarist and background vocalist for Jesse Roper.
Pete has performed throughout Canada, the U.S, and Europe for over 20 years in just about every setting you can imagine: pubs, bars, cruise ships, convention centers, outdoor festivals, weddings, living rooms – the list goes on.
As a performer Pete likes to create a fun, easy going atmosphere where people feel like they are amongst friends. He has described performing as: “I create energy, but I’m also a receiver. Facilitating that exchange between myself and the audience is the goal; and I strive to make every show an experience that everyone is a part of.”
Every Friday you will find the food Trucks Wing Addiction, DeadBeetz Burgers, The Hot Dog Guys and MorningStar Coffee. PLUS monthly themed nights, like a special PRIDE edition, Ska Fest, Beach Bash, and Country in the City!
