The evening will feature a meticulously crafted five-course menu by Chef Nathan Taylor, paired with exceptional wines from the Wagner Family, celebrated for their quality and heritage in the Napa Valley.
Caymus Vineyards, established in 1972 by Charlie and Chuck Wagner, has a rich history in California’s Napa Valley dating back to the late 1800s. Initially supplying grapes to notable wineries such as Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Caymus has since become a cult favourite among Napa wine collectors, earning numerous accolades and awards, including the prestigious “Wine of the Year” award from Wine Spectator magazine, twice. Today, Caymus remains 100% family-owned and operated, with the next generation upholding their farming and winemaking legacy.
Chef Nathan Taylor is particularly excited about presenting the Duck Raviolo, a dish that has been a consistent favourite at the monthly wine dinners, with the filling and flavours continually evolving. This time, the pairing of duck and plum promises to be phenomenal. The Chocolate Fondant, a crowd-pleasing lava cake, is expected to be another highlight, showcasing Chef Guru’s exceptional culinary skills.
