It is with profound sadness that we share the Line of Duty Death of Assistant Fire Chief Lance Caven of the City of Langford, BC.  Lance joined Langford Fire Rescue as a volunteer firefighter in 1991 and was hired as a career firefighter in 2002.  He served the community of Langford for over 30 years.

Below are the details of the service for Assistant Fire Chief Lance Caven. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

TIME OF SERVICE: 1:00 PM (Procession to proceed the service from Centre Mountain Lellum Middle School to Belmont Secondary School, arriving at 12:45 PM)

LOCATION: Belmont Secondary School Gym, 3041 Langford Lake Rd

PROCESSION DETAILS: 12:00 PM: Firefighters leave Centre Mountain Lellum Middle School (Constellation Way) and travel down Constellation Way to Westshore Parkway, to Langford Parkway, past the YMCA to Langford Lake Road, up Langford Lake Road, and left into the parking lot of Belmont Secondary School.
