CEFA Langford Westshore is located in Belmont Market, looking for Full-time teachers to join our team of experienced educators! We are Canada’s leading private school for children ages one to five with several locations. We are a Junior Kindergarten program known for our enriched curriculum, CEFA certified teachers, and innovative approach to Early Childhood Education. Our program has been designed to inspire children to learn, get involved in projects, and have an unforgettable experience that will change the way they view school and learning for a lifetime! Education, skills, and experience required
– Completion of a college program in Early Childhood Education
– A valid Early Childhood Educator License from the province of BC
– A Clear Criminal Record Check
– First Aid and CPR Certified

Duties and Responsibilities
– Provide care and supervision for children in an all-day care program
– Develop and implement daily activities that support and promote the development of children
– Prepare materials and equipment for educational and recreational activities
– Assist with children’s individual behaviors and provide guidance to enrich children’s social development
– Assist children with daily routines such as toileting, dressing, eating, and sleeping
– Discuss progress or challenges of children with parents and other staff members
– Watch for, and remove, any safety hazards as well as maintain a cleanly environment
– Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other community service providers
– Attend meetings and workshops to develop and discuss new teaching methods
