We are a paper full of fun, nice stories and commitment people! Want to join us?
- Office time some time will have to be spent within the office at least once per week. This is time to print maps, receive/enter follow ups, and check in with the CIRC managers to discuss any issues.
- Mapping — an average of 5 routes per week need to be mapped, depending upon the number of open routes in your zone.
- Meetings with new carriers need to be done before the carrier begins the route. In extreme circumstances, the meeting might have to be done after, but it is the field rep’s responsibility to schedule the time before the carrier begins delivery.
- It is your responsibility to keep track of all hours worked and kilometres used during the month. Email the time & mileage sheet to the CIRC manager once per month. Please email these in a timely manner.
- Follow ups need to be completed and entered into the system each week.
- It is the field rep’s responsibility to fulfill their hours per month. If you are under or over that time, please speak with the manager to adjust duties for that month accordingly.
- Field reps are expected to deliver two routes on Wednesday as well as Friday. There will most likely be VIP’s to deliver to each week as well.
- You will be asked on occasion to attend special events/meeting etc.
- Field reps will have to be available to pick up ‘dumps’, these must be done in a timely fashion to prevent inconveniencing residents.
- Your duties will include supervision of newspaper carriers, recruit and hire new carriers, canvass new areas of delivery, monitor carrier performance, gather information for carrier of the month, drop off supplies to carriers.
- A reliable vehicle is a must. A Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check is also mandatory.
