Scansa Construction Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. This position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art mechanic shop and requires someone with the experience, knowledge, and mechanical aptitude to repair gravel trucks, mixer trucks, trailers, and other diverse heavy duty equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

– Perform routine maintenance and repairs
– Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
– Troubleshoot problems and perform diagnostic testing.
– Understand operating manuals and technical drawings.
– Time management and prioritize work to be completed.
– Maintain detailed maintenance reports and documentation.
– Ability to write and follow repair work orders.
– Excellent communication skills and a positive team member.
– Follow safety protocols and compliance in the workplace
