What we are looking for
Our hotel is looking for an experienced cook to join our busy afternoon team. In this position, you will review the pre-set menu so that you understand the offerings, utilize a variety of cooking techniques, plate the food, and hand it off to a server. You will follow instructions from the executive chef to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and that guests are satisfied with their order. Our perfect candidate has significant food production and culinary experience. While a culinary arts degree is not essential, formal training is a plus.

The Westin Bear Mountain Resort & Spa, Victoria, is a world-class 5-star property with 91 rooms, two restaurants and a bar and lounge area, a 300-person ballroom as well as meeting and conference facilities with several amenities including a new state of the art Spa.
