Pacific Football Club (Pacific FC), a division of the Canadian Premier League, is Greater Victoria’s professional men’s soccer team.
Named after the Pacific Ocean, Pacific FC is based out of Langford’s newly redesigned Starlight Stadium, which accommodates upwards of 6,000 spectators. On game day the stadium is alive with energy featuring a unique family fan zone and plaza area surrounded by palm trees, a pond and fountain. The area around the pond features picnic tables, lamps with speakers and Wi-Fi portals, a 25 foot by 16 foot stage and one of two new concession stands. Other onsite amenities include a DJ booth, cocktail bar and public parking. The Sarah Beckett Memorial Playground, also built in 2019, is located adjacent to the stadium grounds.
Pacific FC also recently opened the Island Training Centre, which offers a variety of opportunities for sports development including soccer, futsal, basketball, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, rugby, a batting cage and TOCA.
