The City of Langford is in the process of developing its first Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP). The UFMP will identify the community’s 25‑year vision and values in managing its urban forest and will set out the objectives that will guide the City in addressing the ranging challenges now facing urban trees and their maintenance. Here’s how you can get involved:
- Save the date to attend the open house on Wednesday, November 15th, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Langford City Hall Council Chambers, 3rd Floor, 877 Goldstream Avenue, Langford, BC, to learn more about the Urban Forest Management Plan and the process involved in preparing it.
- Take the survey at LetsChatLangford.ca to help steer the urban forest vision and strategic directions for the Urban Forest Management Plan.
- Make a submission through the online mapping tool at LetsChatLangford.ca to indicate where you value the urban forest or places where you would like to see improvement.
