My biggest passion in this work is helping youth and families feel safe, understood, and less alone. When working with people I like to shine a light on new perspectives and reconnect clients with their sense of self. My approach is strengths-based, and I adjust my approach to best suit the individual needs of the youth, parent, or family. Response-Based Practice, Solution Focused Therapy, and Systemic Family Therapy are the basis of my work. I am a strong believer that we are doing the best we can with the tools that are available to us, and work to help youth and families move toward the relationships that they want and that feel good for them.
I am available to see clients ages 10 and up, as well as parents and families. My main areas of passion and expertise include interpersonal conflict and violence, neurodiversity, gender and sexuality, suicidality/self-harm, and disordered eating.
