Department: Culinary (Kitchen)

Position: Line Cook

Wage & Benefits: $19-22 per hour, plus tips, and health benefits towards anything medical related

• Staff Meals based $600 per year
• 25% discount at the café,15% discount at retail product
• 25% discount at 900* pizza
• 4% Vacation pay

Reports to: Chef Castro Boateng & Sous Chef

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in food preparation for all food prep at the café
• Preparing, cooking, and plating food
• Ensuring food being put out for service is up to standards
• Responsible for making soups, stocks, protein & vegetable prep
• Help organize the fridge & freezer
• The ability to organize weekly prep list
• This position will focus on maintaining stocks, rotating stocks & help with all orders including putting away groceries & food deliveries
• Adhering to food safety standards

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent time management and communications skills
• 2-3 years experience working in kitchens
• Ability to follow recipes
• Team player
• Line cooking experience
• Prep cooking experience
