Effective on Thursday, July 16 2026, at 12 p.m. (noon), all open fires, including campfires, are banned across the Coastal Fire Centre. All permits are suspended and no new permits will be issued until further notice. Portable campfire apparatus that uses gaseous fuels such as propane are still permitted as long as they are CSA or ULC approved and the flame height is less than 15cm.

What: Traffic Delay – Roadside Construction

Please be advised that on Friday, April 1, 2022 and Monday, April 4, 2022 from 8:00AM to 4:00PM roadside work will be happening at Shaw Avenue and Arngask Avenue intersection. Single lane alternating can be expected for short period of times.

Traffic control will be on-site directing traffic. Delays may be expected, motorists please be aware. We apologize for the inconvenience.
