Over the past year, the City has worked closely with residents, businesses, and community partners to develop its first formal Economic Development Strategy. Guided by community input and best practices, the Strategy sets a shared direction for Langford’s economic future.
This is the final phase of public consultation and your opportunity to share feedback on whether the Draft Strategy reflects your priorities for Langford’s economic future.

Housing Strategy Survey
The City of Langford is making a plan to address housing challenges in the community. At the same time, the City is updating how it secures contributions from developers toward affordable housing and community amenities like recreational facilities, public plazas, libraries, and daycares so the requirements apply to all new development, and the rules match new provincial legislation. Langford community members are invited to share their perspectives on housing and community amenities by completing a short survey.

What:       Traffic Delay – Watermain Flushing Works

 

Please be advised that on Monday, March 31, 2025, to Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Sustainable Services Ltd. (SSL) will be flushing watermains along West Shore Parkway between Sooke Road and Langford Parkway and various neighbourhoods in Westhills.

Traffic control will be on-site directing traffic. Delays may be expected, motorists please be aware. We apologize for the inconvenience.
