Fridays at the Station
The Victoria Beer Society is hosting the return of their pop-up summer series Fridays at the Station, every Friday evening from May 12th until August 25th. Ring in the weekend at The Langford Station by enjoying live music, a selection of delicious food trucks, browsing local businesses and artist studios, and of course flights of delicious BC craft beer! The Victoria Beer Society’s Beer Truck will be on site serving cold sleeves and flights of craft beer every Friday from 4pm-8pm.
Every Friday you will find the food Trucks Greek on the Street, Deadbeetz, Bird & Basket, and MorningStar Coffee as well as 1-2 guest stars.
August 25th is featuring music by The Prowl.
The Prowl is one of Victoria’s top booked cover bands that play a variety of pop/rock covers catering to busy venues looking to get people on the dance floor. With members from various musical backgrounds and projects, the Prowl’s mission is to be the most reliable, consistent, and entertaining group around! The Prowl is comprised of Gillian Davis on lead vocals, Cesar Piñilla on the bass guitar, Douglas Liseth and Avian Marinakis alternating on rhythm/lead guitars, and Amber Banman on drums. Before the Prowl even had it’s first birthday as a band, they had already played over 100 gigs around the downtown pub circuit. You can catch them every Sunday at the Irish Times, frequently at Bard and Banker & Darcy’s Pub downtown, and sporadically at other various locations as well. If you’re looking for a band that can bring life to your dance floor, this is the band for you.
