Maintaining food cost & labor cost
Delegate responsibilities to subordinates as required
Responsible for all catering food preparation
Ordering, grocery shopping & maintaining stock
Supervising and leading the team (BOH) at offsite events and on site
Responsible for the weekly prep list, signing task and ensuring that all the work is done to standards
Ensure that correct and consistent food preparation techniques are used by all kitchen staff
Responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness, follow the cleaning list and delegate cleaning duties to staff accordingly. Kitchen cleanliness is of the upmost importance
Qualifications and Skills
Excellent time management and communications skills
2-3 years experience working in kitchens
Ability to follow recipes
Team player
Line cooking experience
Prep cooking experience
Catering / Banquet experience
