Langford’s Draft Economic Development Strategy is ready for your review. Over the past year, the City has worked closely with residents, businesses, and community partners to develop its first formal Economic Development Strategy. Guided by community input and best practices, the Strategy sets a shared direction for Langford’s economic future.
This is the final phase of public consultation and your opportunity to share feedback on whether the Draft Strategy reflects your priorities for Langford’s economic future.

Housing Strategy Survey
The City of Langford is making a plan to address housing challenges in the community. At the same time, the City is updating how it secures contributions from developers toward affordable housing and community amenities like recreational facilities, public plazas, libraries, and daycares so the requirements apply to all new development, and the rules match new provincial legislation. Langford community members are invited to share their perspectives on housing and community amenities by completing a short survey.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY

Where:            3100 Block of Jacklin Road

When:             Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 7:30 AM to 3:00PM

What:              Traffic Delay – Boulevard Improvements

Please be advised that on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 7:30AM to 3:00PM, boulevard improvement works will be taking place along the 3100 Block of Jacklin Road, diverted 2-way traffic via centre turn lane with single lane alternating traffic for brief periods.

Traffic control personnel will be onsite directing traffic. Delays may be expected, motorists please be aware.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
