Effective on Thursday, July 16 2026, at 12 p.m. (noon), all open fires, including campfires, are banned across the Coastal Fire Centre. All permits are suspended and no new permits will be issued until further notice. Portable campfire apparatus that uses gaseous fuels such as propane are still permitted as long as they are CSA or ULC approved and the flame height is less than 15cm.

Please be advised that on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 to Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2750 Leigh Road, traffic will be held up to 5 minutes at a time between 9:00AM until 5:00PM for blasting on site.
