NOTIFICATION OFÂ Â BLASTING
Description of work to be done:  Drilling and Blasting on Lot 12 Horizon Terrace.
Estimated duration of  project:   Starting Tuesday, May 23, 2023 for approximately one month
Hours of Blasting:                 Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
(No blasting, Saturdays, Sundays or Statutory Holidays)
Blasting will take place: Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except statutory holidays. Blasting signs will be posted near and at the entrance of the site. Warning signals will be given as follows:
- 12 short whistles
- Followed by a 20 second pause
- Blast will be detonated
- A long whistle indicates all is clear
- Blasting mats will cover all blasts
- Seismographs will be used to monitor vibration
