CLOSEFamily Day is a yearly statutory holiday that brings an opportunity for residents to spend time with their loved ones and create lasting memories. This year, The City of Langford is celebrating Family Day by bringing a myriad of exciting free family-centered events throughout the City. From free coding workshops to princess story times, there is sure to be something for everyone this long weekend!
The Outpost Board Game Cafe
Head to The Outpost Board Game Cafe for free board game fun!
Enjoy free access to this new and exciting addition to Langford! Founded by long-time Langford locals, the cafe is set to become the ultimate gathering spot for board game enthusiasts. Boasting the largest selection of playable board games in the Westshore, this one is fun for the whole family! Be sure to check out The Outposts Menu to keep you fueled in your gaming adventure.

Stop by Westshore Town Centre for an epic lineup of family-friendly entertainment! There will be magical performances throughout the day that are sure to bring joy to your little ones. Enjoy an interactive storytime with princesses and superheroes, sing along with Mr. Mojo, experience the magic with Derek “Magic” Johnson, and more!

Street Hockey Event
Show off your skills with Canada’s favorite pastime!
The Westshore RCMP and Langford Fire Department are teaming up to bring you a Street Hockey Event at Veterans Memorial Park.
The FREE celebration will include two hockey arenas, information booths with swag, and hot dogs, chips & juice (while supplies last).
No registration required, just bring your hockey stick and join in on the fun!

Play Zone Access
Get active with free access to the Play Zone at City Centre Park all day long! Play Zone is an incredible indoor gold-mine themed play structure that is a huge hit with the young ones. Adults can relax in the Parent Section and enjoy a cup of coffee while the kids enjoy the play area. The Toddler Zone is safe for kids under 3 to play, so everyone can enjoy this exciting activity.

Discover Strings
