Langford’s Draft Economic Development Strategy is ready for your review. Over the past year, the City has worked closely with residents, businesses, and community partners to develop its first formal Economic Development Strategy. Guided by community input and best practices, the Strategy sets a shared direction for Langford’s economic future.
This is the final phase of public consultation and your opportunity to share feedback on whether the Draft Strategy reflects your priorities for Langford’s economic future.

Housing Strategy Survey
The City of Langford is making a plan to address housing challenges in the community. At the same time, the City is updating how it secures contributions from developers toward affordable housing and community amenities like recreational facilities, public plazas, libraries, and daycares so the requirements apply to all new development, and the rules match new provincial legislation. Langford community members are invited to share their perspectives on housing and community amenities by completing a short survey.

Where:            West Shore Parkway at Trans Canada Highway 1

When:             Wednesday, April 16, 2025, to Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 10:00PM to 6:00AM

What:              Traffic Delay – Lane Closure

Please be advised that on the evening of Wednesday, April 16, 2025, to Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 10:00PM to 6:00AM, West Shore Parkway at Trans Canada Highway 1 will be single lane alternating traffic to accommodate sign repair works in the road right of way.

Traffic control will be on-site directing traffic. Delays may be expected, motorists please be aware.  We apologize for the inconvenience
