
HOB Fine Foods: Catering Sous Chef

We’re looking for a Catering Sous Chef who’s ready to step into a leadership role and continue building on that momentum to make it your own. What You’ll Be Doing
● Lead and execute on-site catering events
● Plan, prep, and organize all catering production
● Supervise, mentor, and motivate Back of House (BOH) teams on and off-site
● Manage ordering, inventory, and food costing
● Collaborate with Front of House (FOH) leadership to ensure seamless event execution
● Delegate effectively: prep lists, event setup, and team coordination
● Maintain a clean, organized, and high-functioning kitchen at all times
● Uphold quality control across every dish leaving the kitchen
What You Bring:
● 5+ years of kitchen experience, ideally in catering or events
● 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
● Strong understanding of food costing, ordering, and kitchen systems
● Confidence across all areas of food preparation
● Ability to lead calmly within fast-paced, high-pressure environments
● Food Safe Certification
● Excellent time management and communication skills
● Strong attention to detail
● A team-first mindset with a strong positive work ethic

The Opportunity
This is a long-term position with room to grow. We’re looking for someone ready to commit, develop, and move forward with us. A minimum of one year commitment is required before advancement. We continue to invest in our team members but they have to reciprocate their investment in us.
