Dynamic Duo – Help someone with diversability in the community
We are looking for an outgoing female volunteer to spend time in the community with a young woman with diversabilities.
Activities could include walks, feeding ducks, community outings.
Volunteer needs to be able to push a wheelchair and offer a hand to hold on occasion if unsteady on feet.
Maximum visit time would be 1.5-2 hours due to fatigue. Ideally weekday mornings (after 9:30) but this is flexible.
(Ideal age between 25-50 as she’d prefer to meet a peer. This is also flexible.)

We will share a few necessary forms and explain some paperwork that is needed.
Volunteers will be applying for a Criminal Record Check for vulnerable sector (link will be shared) and volunteers need to be double vaccinated for Covid-19.
Willing to accept any duration of commitment.
