Volunteer Opportunity

We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Assistant to help keep our marketing running smoothly during our upcoming Gingerbread Showcase. This role is all about supporting the team with practical tasks so campaigns, events, and social media content stay on track.

• Get hands-on marketing experience in a nonprofit setting.
• Build skills in social media, Canva, and event support.
• Make a real impact for families in our community.

What we are looking for:
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable with Canva, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
• Can follow instructions and work independently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience in marketing or admin support is a bonus, not required.

Time & Place:
• Flexible, around 5–10 hours per week
• On-site at Habitat for Humanity Victoria, 849 Orono Ave, Langford.
• Car not required but is an asset.

We build decent housing in order to provide local hard working families with access to affordable homeownership in the Capital Region.

Additionally, our Critical Repairs program helps to maintain safe, livable housing by addressing urgent health and safety issues.
