Effective on Thursday, July 16 2026, at 12 p.m. (noon), all open fires, including campfires, are banned across the Coastal Fire Centre. All permits are suspended and no new permits will be issued until further notice. Portable campfire apparatus that uses gaseous fuels such as propane are still permitted as long as they are CSA or ULC approved and the flame height is less than 15cm.

What: Intermittent Traffic Delay – Blasting

Please be advised that on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, to Friday May 2, 2025 from 9:00AM to
4:30PM, Happy Valley Road at Englewood Avenue will have a single lane closed on the South
side of the road to accommodate a blasting buffer zone in the road right of way.

Traffic control will be on-site directing traffic. Delays may be expected, motorists please be
