Effective on Thursday, July 16 2026, at 12 p.m. (noon), all open fires, including campfires, are banned across the Coastal Fire Centre. All permits are suspended and no new permits will be issued until further notice. Portable campfire apparatus that uses gaseous fuels such as propane are still permitted as long as they are CSA or ULC approved and the flame height is less than 15cm.

Please be advised that on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, Langford Parkway between Jacklin Road and Phipps Road will be closed in the eastbound direction between 7:00PM and 5:00AM for road paving works.

Traffic control will be on-site directing traffic. Delays may be expected, motorists please be aware. We apologize for the inconvenience. BC Transit and Emergency vehicles will have full access through this work location.
