What:       Continued BC Hydro Utility Duct Bank work UPDATE– Single Lane Alternating Traffic and Temporary Road Closure
Please be advised that from Monday, June 24, 2024, to approximately Monday, July 8, 2024, from 7:00AM to 5:00PM, traffic will continue to be intermittently reduced to single lane alternating to accommodate BC Hydro duct bank utility installation on McCallum Road.
Whirlaway Crescent will be closed during construction. Please use the second access (Two access points are circled in yellow below.)
This section is part of a much larger BC Hydro utility upgrade that continues East as far as Secretariat Way. The project is being constructed in sections to best manage traffic. An updated traffic advisory is issued regularly as the project progresses.
Traffic control personnel will be on-site during working hours to facilitate vehicle and pedestrian access to local businesses in the affected area. Businesses are not closed due to road construction. For access onto Whirlaway Crescent, are Please follow signage and Traffic Control Personnel directions during construction. Motorists should expect and should plan for longer commuting times. We apologize for the inconvenience.
