Effective on Thursday, July 16 2026, at 12 p.m. (noon), all open fires, including campfires, are banned across the Coastal Fire Centre. All permits are suspended and no new permits will be issued until further notice. Portable campfire apparatus that uses gaseous fuels such as propane are still permitted as long as they are CSA or ULC approved and the flame height is less than 15cm.

What: Traffic Delay – Sidewalk Construction

Please be advised that Tuesday, April 22, 2025 through till Friday, July 4, 2025 from 8:30AM to 5:30PM will have construction for a sidewalk along Happy Valley Road and Englewood Avenue. Traffic will be reduced to single lane alternating.

Traffic control will be on-site directing traffic. Delays may be expected; motorists please be aware. We apologize for the inconvenience.
