Langford’s Draft Economic Development Strategy is ready for your review. Over the past year, the City has worked closely with residents, businesses, and community partners to develop its first formal Economic Development Strategy. Guided by community input and best practices, the Strategy sets a shared direction for Langford’s economic future.
This is the final phase of public consultation and your opportunity to share feedback on whether the Draft Strategy reflects your priorities for Langford’s economic future.

Housing Strategy Survey
The City of Langford is making a plan to address housing challenges in the community. At the same time, the City is updating how it secures contributions from developers toward affordable housing and community amenities like recreational facilities, public plazas, libraries, and daycares so the requirements apply to all new development, and the rules match new provincial legislation. Langford community members are invited to share their perspectives on housing and community amenities by completing a short survey.

Where:      Millstream Road between Bear Mountain Parkway and Goldie Avenue

When:       Tuesday, September 27, 2022 and Thursday, September 29, 2022

                     from 6:00PM to 6:00AM

What:        Traffic Delay – Paving

Please be advised that on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 6:00PM to 6:00AM and on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 6:00PM to 6:00AM, traffic will be periodically reduced to single lane alternating on Millstream Road between Bear Mountain Parkway and Goldie Avenue.

Traffic control will be on-site directing traffic. Expect Delays, motorists please be aware. We apologize for the inconvenience.
