Campfire Ban in Effect - July 16, 2026

Effective on Thursday, July 16 2026, at 12 p.m. (noon), all open fires, including campfires, are banned across the Coastal Fire Centre. All permits are suspended and no new permits will be issued until further notice. Portable campfire apparatus that uses gaseous fuels such as propane are still permitted as long as they are CSA or ULC approved and the flame height is less than 15cm.

What:               Traffic Delay – Catch Basin Installation  

Please be advised that Monday, June 10, 2024, to Friday, June 14, 2024, from 7:00AM to 5:00PM, Selwyn Road between Hoffman Avenue and Red Alder Court will be single lane alternating to install a catch basin in the road right of way.

 Traffic control will be onsite directing traffic, delays may be expected, motorists please be aware. We apologize for the inconvenience.
