Effective on Thursday, July 16 2026, at 12 p.m. (noon), all open fires, including campfires, are banned across the Coastal Fire Centre. All permits are suspended and no new permits will be issued until further notice. Portable campfire apparatus that uses gaseous fuels such as propane are still permitted as long as they are CSA or ULC approved and the flame height is less than 15cm.

Please be advised that Monday, July 15, 2024 to Friday, September 6, 2024 from 7:00AM to 5:00PM there will be ongoing sidewalk construction on Treanor Avenue between City Gate Boulevard to Lakewood School Driveway will be single lane alternating at times.

Traffic control will be on-site directing traffic. Delays may be expected, motorists please be aware. We apologize for the inconvenience.
