Scott Goodmanson, Mayor of the City of Langford, has released the following statement on the passing of former Premier of BC, longtime Juan de Fuca MLA, and proud Langford resident, John Horgan.
“It is with deep sadness that City of Langford Mayor, Council, and staff acknowledge the passing of former Premier of BC, John Horgan. John made significant contributions throughout his tenure, both to the city and the province. He was a passionate leader, renowned for his sense of humour and authenticity. John worked diligently for the community, and the impact of his leadership will be long remembered. The City is immensely grateful for John’s dedicated service.
We extend our sincere condolences to his family, and we mourn together with all who knew him. In recognition of his passing, the City has lowered the flags to half-mast.”
