Comtech Systems: Marketing and Sales Manager
Comtech Systems has created a new position of Marketing and Sales Manager to concentrate marketing and sales leadership and execution in one person at head office. The new Marketing and Sales Manager will be the public ‘face’ of Collect! at an annual industry event and at the forefront of building an excellent, growing marketing and sales department for a small software company positioned for expansion.
Comtech The Marketing and Sales Manager will refine the outbound marketing plan, communication materials, attend an annual industry event in the US, refine the sales process, manage the sales pipeline and oversee additional staff once volume indicates further hiring.
The Marketing and Sales Manager is involved in decisions through participation in Management Team meetings; they communicate with all other managers in the company: operations, office, product management, support and work with all as needed.
Our ideal candidate has had relevant experience with a larger software or technology company where they experienced the development and use of current marketing tools, were aware of a marketing budget, participated in industry events and kept themselves informed of trends in the industry. Our ideal candidate has sales experience and some knowledge of value-based selling. Our ideal candidate is proactive, outgoing and personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
