Fairway Market – is a locally owned and operated grocery chain on Vancouver Island. Fairway Market’s has 10 grocery stores and has been serving Vancouver Island for over 58 years.
Position Summary – Fairway Market is looking for someone who is pro active with innovative new ideas to develop a successful location for the company.

Deli – This person must be a team player and support the deli team to operate a successful department.
The successful candidate must be able to have these qualities:

• Must be able to perform the various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging, and operating counters.
• Manage product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilage’s.
• Ensure that products are properly labeled with prices and dates.
• Monitor and maintain stock inventory levels to avoid over and under stock problems.
• Interact politely with clients while solving problems related to sales, dissatisfied service and issues regarding store operation.
• Operate all food preparation machines and equipment.
• Receive, unload and stock the food items.
• Ensure that facility is maintained neat, clean and safe.
