Are you eager to work in a positive and welcoming environment where the results of your efforts translate
into healthy, happy Indigenous families and communities? We are a charitable not-for-profit organization
dedicated to strengthening the lives and voices of Indigenous people, and we are looking for a Caregiver
Support (previously called Foster Parent Support) person to join our compassionate, respectful, and caring
staff team. If you’re an expert communicator, phenomenal relationship-builder, and empathetic problem solver with a passion for working in partnership with Indigenous families, Elders, and communities, then we want to talk with you!

In the Caregiver Support position, you’ll be that familiar face, the expert resource welcoming caregivers into
the community, providing them with a sense of belonging, and making them feel like welcome and valued
members of the caregiving community team. Working in an environment that prioritizes accountability,
transparency, and respect, you’ll act as the first point of contact and line of support for caregivers. Every day
you’ll make a meaningful contribution by facilitating and encouraging access to vital resources and
tools and helping caregivers succeed and thrive in their role with children and youth in care.
You will have the opportunity to monitor a call line, deliver training, and attend community events and
meetings. Building relationships with stakeholders, community partners, and caregivers will be an integral part
of your position.

• Healthy workplace which offers professional development, a wellness program, and other cultural
initiatives
• Competitive benefits package after 3 months of employment
• Matched RRSP Group Savings Plan after 6 months of employment
• Annual salary $60,000-$65,000 based on previous experience or related experience
• Monday- Friday 8:30am- 4:30pm with option of a flex schedule (position is onsite)
