Event Volunteer
General Event Volunteers play a key role in delivering an exceptional FanCon experience. Responsibilities include assisting with guest check-in, providing directions and information to attendees, supporting panel rooms and activity areas, helping manage line flow, and ensuring event spaces remain organized and welcoming. Volunteers act as friendly, knowledgeable ambassadors for the event, helping create a positive and engaging environment for all guests.
FanCon is a pop culture convention that brings together fans of film, television, gaming, comics, cosplay, and more for an immersive, community-driven experience. Island FanCon 2026 will take place June 5–7, 2026, featuring celebrity guests, panels, workshops, vendors, artists, and interactive fan experiences.
Beyond entertainment, FanCon supports the creative community by showcasing artists, creators, and industry professionals, while offering programming designed to inspire and develop emerging talent. With a focus on accessibility, community engagement, and high-quality experiences, FanCon creates a welcoming space for fans of all ages to connect and celebrate shared passions.
