Thank you for your interest in serving on the Board of Directors for BGC South Vancouver Island (BGCSVI) and or Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Victoria Foundation (BGCGVF).
For 65 years, BGCSVI has provided safe, supportive spaces and life-changing programs for children, youth, and families across our region.
BGCSVI and BGCGVF are each supported by separate governing boards that work together to strengthen our impact: the Services Board, which focuses on governance, strategy, and oversight of BGCSVI and its operations, and the BGCGVF Board, which focuses on fundraising, philanthropy, growing and stewarding the resources needed to sustain and expand our work.
As we enter our next chapter, we are seeking thoughtful, committed leaders who want to help guide our long-term strategy, strengthen governance, fundraising, and expand our impact in communities across South Vancouver Island.
This package will introduce you to who we are, the work we do, and the important role our boards play in shaping the future of our organization and the young people and families we serve—from Sooke to Sidney and everywhere in between.
Please provide cover letter and resume. Board recruitment package can be found online at https://bgcsvi.org/our-services-board/
