LANGFORD GETS ROLLING WITH BCAA AND EVOLVE’S E-BIKE & E-SCOOTER SHARE PROGRAM

(Langford, B.C.): Today, the City of Langford, along with BCAA and Evolve officially kicked off a new e-bike and e-scooter share program, ushering in a new era of active transportation for the community. This initiative provides residents and visitors in Langford with a convenient and affordable way to explore the city.

Evolve’s fleet of 150 e-bikes and e-scooters are designed for comfort, safety, and ease of use. Evolve, a proud BC-based company operated by BCAA brings its expertise in micro-mobility solutions to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for all riders.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Evolve’s e-bikes and e-scooters to Langford as part of our commitment to building a greener, more connected city,” added Scott Goodmanson, Mayor of Langford. “This initiative gives residents and visitors a fun, affordable, and sustainable way to move around our community. It’s another step forward in making Langford a leader in smart urban mobility and environmental stewardship.”

Aligned with key priorities in the Council Strategic Plan, the City of Langford is creating a Transportation Master Plan that will guide long-term transportation development, and an Active Transportation Master Plan that will focus on enhancing options for walking, rolling, and cycling, helping to alleviate congestion on existing roads. To celebrate the launch and give back to the community, BCAA and Evolve are partnering with the Goldstream Food Bank to donate $1 from every ride taken between June 19th and July 31st. This initiative will directly support the Food Bank’s efforts to provide essential food assistance to individuals and families in need. With Evolve, Langford residents can enjoy active transportation while directly supporting their community.
