LANGFORD’S CANADA DAY EVENT AT STARLIGHT STADIUM

(Langford, B.C.) – The City of Langford is set to host its biggest-ever Canada Day celebration on July 1st at Starlight Stadium from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free-for-all event promises a fun and lively day accessible to all ages and abilities.   

This year’s event will see a host of new activities, artists, and vendors alongside returning favorites. Highlights include:

  • Traditional pancake breakfast (by donation to the Royal Canadian Legion)
  • Full-day music lineup including Indigenous hip hop artist Stax, wiL&Co, The County Line, Hulitan Thunder, and many more!
  • NHL Street Hockey with the Westshore RCMP
  • A magic pop-up theatre with Langford Local Magician Jason Verners
  • Cornhole Tournament with Stringers Cornhole League
  • Henna artist
  • Langford Duck Pond Game with lots of prizes to be won
  • Firefighter obstacle course hosted by the Fire Rescue team
  • The most sought-after hot wings eating contest by Bucky’s Taphouse
  • Several food vendors and a beer garden accessible throughout the day
  • Victoria Superheroes making appearances throughout the event
  • Meet and greet with members of the Council at the City’s Mobile Info Centre Van

The City is grateful to its sponsors, which include the BC Government and KeyCorp Developments, for supporting a strong sense of community through this event.

Everyone is invited to celebrate Canada Day in Langford – where festivities happen!
