Interested in learning how to grow your own food? Join the Urban Food Resilience Initiatives Society on May 10th from 11:00am-12:30pm at Porcher Park to meet fellow gardeners, sign-up for a garden plot if you haven’t already, and have your questions answered.

• Where: Porcher Park Community Garden, 822 Wren Place, in central Langford
• When: Saturday May 10, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
• Who: Everyone welcome. There is a playground for children, right next to the garden.
• How: Just come as you are, rain or shine. Bring any healthy starter plants or used gardening tools that you might want to donate.
• Parking: There is some street parking; walk/roll/cycle is encouraged.
• Pets: No dogs within the fenced food-growing area; dogs are welcome in the other areas of Porcher Park.
