THE STATION FOOD TRUCK & MUSIC FESTIVAL RETURNS TO LANGFORD

(Langford, B.C.) – The City of Langford is excited to announce the return of the Food Truck and Music Festival for the third consecutive year. This year, the event has expanded to Veterans Memorial Park on the second day of the two-day festival. The festival will take place on Friday, September 20th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Langford Station (720 Station Ave) and on Saturday, September 21st from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Langford Station and Veterans Memorial Park (Aldwynd Road).

The festival will showcase a variety of food trucks and vendors, along with games and activities to entertain all age groups. On Friday evening at The Station, enjoy live music by DJ Perkins, Loose Bones and The County Line while indulging in delicious meals from over 20 food trucks. Look out for local magician Jason Verners performing magic on the go, play one of the many games organized and stop by the photo booth to capture all the fun!

On Saturday, hop between The Station and Veterans Memorial Park to enjoy more food options, and music on two separate stages. Additional activities at The Station include a henna artist, games, dancing, and giant chess board! Meanwhile, at Veterans Memorial Park, there will be a Farmers Market, live music, dance performances, Jason Verner’s magic tent, face painting, an origami workshop, giant bubbles demonstration, the Four Frames vintage photo trailer, additional food vendors, and more!

“Langford is gearing up for another incredible weekend! It’s the perfect opportunity for families, friends, residents, and visitors to come together and enjoy everything the community has to offer,” said Scott Goodmanson, Mayor of Langford. “With over 20 food trucks, an exciting lineup of local musicians, a beer garden, and plenty of activities, you won’t want to miss it!”

To accommodate the large gathering of event attendees, Station Avenue between 741 and 721 Station Avenue will be closed to traffic, starting 7:00 a.m. Friday September 20th and will re-open after 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21st.

The City of Langford invites residents and visitors to join the festival with family and friends.
